Im the car the bigger man drove. Not necessarily over the speed limit the way he drive scared Kevin. He drove with a purpose he didn’t look when he changed lanes but his car seemed heavier than others like a brick being thrown around. There was a force behind him an assuredness.
“We understand you’ve been told about it.”
“It?” He wanted to reply instead he couldn’t speak a part of him knew what it was about.
“It?”
“Blue 3. We have heard through the grapevine” with this he looked at the big guy who sort of shrugged. “ we’ve heard through the grapevine that your in touch with Blue 3.”
He wasn’t given a brief about this. Like what should he do? What should he respond. He thought about being honest but he didn’t know who these guys were.
“I uh I don’t really we haven’t liked signed anything. Man I just do the code like nothing crazy.”
The big one smiled at this. The skinny one seemed annoyed.
“We need you to say yes, sign the papers, and we need you to tell us what it is. You don’t have to divulge anything particular we just want to know. General things. Nothings wrong with that”
The skinny guy said. Then they took the exit speeding off. They started on back roads back into town.
“That’s all we need.”
