They began calling him Dr. Jack. He pretended not to like it, but deep down he was eager for the next mention of it. "Dr. Jack!!!". The only person at the party who knew he actually liked the name was his twin. They understood each other too well. This didn't matter to Jack... so long as Layla didn't notice he was pretending to dislike the joke, Jack didn't care if his twin was snickering at him.

"dr. Jaaaaaack!" another person yelled. People laughed. Jack shooks his head. It was hard for him to pretend that he didn't like it. He continued shaking his head with a grin pasted on his face. Sometimes he'd lift his eyebrows and point at the person who said it. Sometimes he would shrug his shoulders and take a theatric sip of beer.

The joke couldn't continue too long. It was good for the time being. Jack didn't know however this whole time that there was another person in the room who was snickering at him. Not his twin but his own patient, the guy he had save from choking.

Usually Pat was in the spotlight. This time he was kind of outside of it. Anytime someone paid him any attention it was them showing concern for his recent near death experience. He had never choked before. It hadn't even been 30 seconds, but during that time he had truly felt that this could be the end. Then that Jack guy came and saved him. When Pat finally was able to breathe and realized he wasn't going to die he suddenly became really annoyed with Jack. They had been staring into each others eyes. Pat wondered if Jack would try to kiss him. Immediately after thinking that Pat was annoyed that he wondered in the first place.
