What's next? Adagia George Saunders Zoom

At the end of our final meeting there was a question in the air of how we might keep in touch now that are club was over. I think we developed a good amount rapport over the short spans of six
Zoom
calls, and there was no obvious place where we might continue sharing writing with each other.

keni
wrote in the chat "what about Adagia?" and of course I thought
Adagia
would be a great place! But I shyly wrote back in the chat that I didn't think it was ready. I guess what I fear most is timing and pace. What I saw work extremely well in the club was the ~500 words per week pacing. Although a few people did drop out of the jog, we had a cast of regulars stuck around at the end.

I'm just writing this to make it more 'real', but I guess I chickened out because I didn't want to do two things. First I didn't want to self-promote and second I didn't want to pressure people into doing something they had no intentions of doing. Maybe they don't want to write everyday?

Anyways I'm going to instead reach out one on one to the people who stuck around until the end and see if they are in fact wanting to be a part of a group who just show up to write everyday together.

I know even if turns out that nobody wants to do write daily in such a way, I'll still be able to bump into them because it sounds like we might be doing another writing club together based on a
George Saunders
' book that dissects what makes a great story a great story via seven Russian short stories. I already got the ebook :)
Great idea Sir Abe. I find a lot of people who want to write but dont know where and how. That group in particular seem dedicated enough to want to write on a regular basis even if not daily.
