You may have a tap like this in your workplace, the one that provides the hot water and chilled drinking water. You can also get these taps for the home, that has both chilled and sparkling water.
The pros might be clean, fresh sparkling water on tap, but the con is the cost, somewhere between $4,000 and $6,000 installed. It seems a little excessive, and it feels like I am using a brick to squash a fly.
The other option is to buy a new fridge that has a sparkling water dispenser. A good quality fridge with this feature should set me back about $2,500. It seems to be a more logical option, and a lot easier on the family finances. I think that's what I'll do.
