One of the things I need to learn and keep learning as a Product Manager is to focus on impact rather than how "I long I stared at a screen".
Let me explain myself, let's say I need to improve a tool and go on to research what's currently available in the market. I could go on and on opening several browser tabs and just taking everything in for a long period of time. Or I could keep adding bookmarks on bookmarks. My brain just loves the experience of expanding on what's possible and what we can adopt in our product. I think this is the hell of creativity.
Thinking of it, it's actually childish. Someone said, "protecting your time is a critical part of succeeding at any level of experience, in any role; you don't get paid to sit in a chair".
Outcomes matter, hours don't.
I need to learn that and learn it fast.
