If she were to ask why Jack hadn't gone to U of M, he had ready an answer of how he had considered it but ended up going to MSU instead due to campus. He liked how

's campus was like a giant park instead of part of an urban city. He liked that, he would say. He wouldn't need to include the fact that he had not gotten accepted.

It wasn't even that his twin brother was smarter than him. They were smart in their own ways. Some even considered Jack to be smarter. Not that he believed this. But it still made him feel better to think of the people who believed this.

Jack didn't get as good of grades but he was more creative and emotional. His twin was logical and good with facts and intellectual concepts. The world prized the latter more than the former. Money wise at least. But in college the former was prized too. Maybe the world would change in this matter. Maybe later Jack would be considered more successful than his twin.

He was confident about his creativity few weekends back when he was hanging out with this girl. But now that he was on this different campus he was feeling shaky. The people all looked and felt so much bigger and smarter. He and his stupid MSU education couldn't compare. Damn he thought. He needed some fucking deodorant for sure now. Shower would be better but there wasn't time for that. The pregame was about to begin.
