"You good man?" Marc asked. They were on the porch. The sound of cicadas and crickets in the distance made it feel like they were really far out. Like civilization and all of its sounds had been destroyed, and this was all that remained.

BAKA thought but would never tell anyone that he hated being on the road. He always had to wake up and pretend like he was ready, but what he missed most out of anything was a routine.
