Oct 2022 Review

Name three things you can improve on this upcoming month? What concrete actions can you take on to work towards these improvements?

These were my goals for Oct.
Consistent writing. Joining the #teamstreak encore. -- CHECK
Sleep time and quality. -- CHECK
Making part time income. -- Almost CHECK

I wrote daily. Got a crown for my sleep a lot of the time. I also fixed what time I wake up and more importantly - what time I sleep.

The making money part time wasn't done done... I did a lot of reading, researching and evaluating. This first week of Nov, I will focus on launching something in time for black Friday and other holiday related sales.

For Nov - these are the 3 things I can improve on:
1) Making part time income. (Actual sales!)
2) Writing my fiction book
3) Working on a recipe book.

What or who are you especially grateful for this past month?

Once again - I am grateful for my health - nothing trumps that. I am also grateful for my energy this last month. Fixing my sleep and getting into routines helped a lot with that. Grateful to my family and friends who keep me grounded.

How are you different between this past month and the month before it?

I have more energy.
I am thinking about big things.
I felt the urge to document little things that happened by resuming my writing daily habit.

What did you accomplish this past month? What are you most proud of?

Got my sleep in order. I was sleeping whenever and waking up at odd hours of the day. Changed that and saw a direct impact on my energy and output. Proud of the crowns I earned in my sleep data.

Review your planner for the past month and assess your priorities. Are you happy with how you spent your time? If not, what steps can you take next month to adjust them?

I used my excel checklist again for October and tracked myself on 20 things I care about. I ended the month with a score of 77%. It was 71% in September. My goal was to hit at least 80% for October so I missed that by a few points. But I am happy with the improvement and I know which of the items I need to focus on to do better in Nov.

What were the three biggest lessons you’ve learned in the past month?

1) I have a ton of energy when I sleep well.
2) I can make $0.20 cents/month from writing once a week on Medium. I can make more if I write certain types of content that the Medium algorithm likes. (I need to reevaluate what my goals for writing on Medium are)
3) I am understanding sales more than I did before.(Credit Alex Hormozi for that skill)

What was the most memorable part of this past month? Describe it

My dad came to visit us in the US for a week in October. The weather was perfect. Both of us enjoy walking. So everyday, we would go out for a walk and talk about everything. Getting to see him witness how much my health has improved, getting to discuss different topics and keeping up with his walking gave us both moments we cherish.
