What a Year - 1

I am working on my year in review lately. I am amazed at how short term my memory is. So much has happened in the first quarter that I already forgot. But these daily writing posts have reminded me of the small and big things that actually made a difference to my year.

I discovered NASACADEMY.com. I found Bozoma Saint John on Instagram and found her post advertising her class on Nasacademy. I signed up to her class and found myself exploring the other classes on the site.

I signed up for one about confidence in making video. I liked how the class was structured and especially the competition at the end of the class. Which I won and found very addictive. Soon I had signed up to a ton of classes. There was a 50% of discount for signing up to 5 classes and I took advantage of that.

Bozoma's class turned out to be fantastic. And I found myself in a tribe of African women who were inspired by Bozoma. We had so much in common that the tribe decided to meet once a month to talk about a lot of the topics raised in the class.

Another side effect of the Nasacademy discovery was my trip to Dubai for my birthday in March. There was the passport renewal fiasco that made me find out who my State's senator was. I got my passport the day before my trip and flew to that wonderful place for a week. I attended the biggest content creator's event and had a great time.

All this is a very condensed writing of just the first quarter of 2022.
