The last sip

as reply to bar food

Lenny’s creator swirled the whisky the terpentine taste of the last sip made him shiver. The alcohol still making his insides warm and his breath warm. He hadn’t had a break in awhile. Realistically this wasn’t a break, he had to work some of it. But he didn’t mind. Like how much would he get done it also give him something to do. What did he used to do? I guess either talking to people or watching something. There was that comedy night? In college Lenny’s creator was jealous of people who song acapella. Now he chuckled to himself about this. Who gives a fuck about that. Who even stays singing acapella. He chuckled a gain. Working up enough courage to take another sip.

That’s why he made up Lenny. Lenny wasn’t interested in acapella. More in something else, he thought deeper. But still didn’t know what. He would figure that out. He took another sip.

Dan Bordy popped into his mind. One time Dan told him he could run a mile in 4 and a half minutes. They were just talking at the bar nothing planned. Lenny’s creator didn’t believe him but he just nodded saying oh really.

He swirled the whiskey and took the last sip.
