Again

as reply to strange distance

The next day there was a speaker by the door with the food. It took him the whole day to press the power button. There was something about the object. A break from the paper and he thought it meant something was going to happen. Something was changing.

When he did finally press the power button. It was an old song. Not super old but people his age might remember it from college time. Something you would dance in the club to. Yelling at your friends and doing shots.

The next song was slower but building, still a song that people play at weddings. He knew it’d be something like this. Something like the Blue Man but retro. He didn’t really remember when he realise this, it was before the blue paint but after the kidnapping.

He couldn’t even remember that time. It was like he was almost seperated from the world transported to mars. Even if he got out what would he do? He’d probably be in trouble, you can’t just leave like that.

He rewound the cassette and played it again this time trying to out the moves to the beat. He rewound it again.
