Everyone wore slippers in

. If he was with his friends from back in the day they'd give him so much shit. He remembers when he told one of them he wore pajamas, and the guy just laughed at him. He felt bad, and never wore pajamas again. Even though it wasn't like that guy could see him, or he didn't have to tell him about it, but something snapped.
So when people started wearing slippers and pajamas in spacecity he thought about mocking them. Laughing, but it was also so cold. You'd have had to do something. You weren't really supposed to do anything to your clothes, but people wore the slippers like it was no tomorrow. Almost everywhere. You could almost tell how long someone had been their by their slippers.
Even the barista guy wore slippers. It still kind of freaked him out, but one guy explained it to him, its not like they bring in shit from the outside. It makes sense. Its all clean up here.
Keith's slippers were old, not dusty, but like an old hat, just worn. Frayed in certain areas, a different design than the other peoples. They were interesting to Pete, he was impressed.
