What other people think

Caring requires a lot of mental energy and resources.

Caring is a choice.

Ask yourself: what things are are worth choosing to care about? What things are worthy of your finite mental and emotional energy to?

Family? Well worth it.

Friendships? Well worth it.

Important problems? Well worth it.

What other people think? Not worth it at all.

Caring about what other people think is a slippery slope and the quickest way to drain your energy and deprive you of your ability to meaningfully engage in anything else.

Don’t grant it with any of your energy.
