You don't need permission anymore

My friend Sondra Jenzer started posting on LinkedIn at the beginning of the year about her thoughts around love, compassion and a human-centered society.

She’s since made positive impressions on 100s if not 1000s of members of the LinkedIn community and beyond.

Another recent connection, Dr. Xuan Wang-Wolf began to fill the gap in AAPI-focused content when she published her first episode of her podcast “Rise Up: AAPI Excellence” about the unique experiences, successes, and challenges of members of the Asian-American and Pacific Islander community.

Thank goodness for generous content creators like Xuan and Sondra.

The best part?

Neither needed permission.

There was no agent, publicist, or media manager — no gate keepers — to work through.

Sondra and Xuan used platforms that available to anyone with access to an internet connection.

We live in an era where the cost of broadcasting your voice is at its lowest — do not take this for granted.

If something is on your heart, there’s a good chance that others will find value from hearing it too.
