I believe in what I'd call mentors (for a lack of an alternative word). I believe there's someone out there who can make you get (understand, comprehend, assimilate) things easily than any other person. I believe there's someone there who just have a way of sparking inspiration in you like no one else can.
Whether there is just one of such person in the world or they are lots of them, is not the subject of this post.
One of such person for me is Naval Ravikant. He's got a way he communicates concepts I've heard before and he makes them simpler - for me. Aside from his crypto stuff, I understand Naval's message at once and they stay with me longer.
John Maxwell gave me this vibe as a teenager. I enjoyed Ben Carson, but never like John C Maxwell.
Another, the biggest for me - is a friend I met at the university. I only need to be around him to get my spark back. I've tried "replacing" him, no other person ignites my spark (purpose, energy etc) as he does.
This may not be true for everyone in the world. But it's something I believe.
Do you share the same experience?
