Tutorial Hell

There’s a common plague today. It strikes programmers more than any other group. It’s the plague of endless learning. Watching tutorials like it’s a life mission.

I think this herd behavior was picked up unconsciously. It’s an artifact of the fading away 6-3-3-4 schooling system. The kind of learning where you learn without applying for a long period of time. It’s archaic. It doesn’t apply now.

The best way to learn now is;

Step 1: a timed crash course
Step 2: Learn as and when needed

This isn’t a general rule - medicine and etc. But for most digital workers, that’s the way to go.

Learn. Apply. Repeat.

Do all you can to shorten the learning to application period.

Learn. Build. Learn.

Learn. Get a small freelance gig. Learn.

Learn. Try capture economic value and with your ideas. Learn
Based on the title i thought you by tutorial hell you meant how there are so many tutorials on the basic concepts of every language/framework, but alot of them were so bad.
