I just saw this news report from Israel. They seem to be actively making their citizens take a booster shot. Even that will not be enough beyond 6 months.
The report itself seemed very scary. The vaccine isn't a guarantee anymore. And to have this type of a mutation in such a short time means that this virus is here to stay.
The healthcare system was already overwhelmed around the world. I think if this continues and there isn't something very dramatic that can be done. I have a feeling that the theory of survival of the fittest may come to fruition in an ugly way otherwise.
The people without comorbidities and compromised immune systems may be the ones that can stick around if this virus continues to be relentless.
I am staying put at home. Trying to avoid any exposure. I fear that the worst is yet to come.
