I've been involved in Bible Teaching in various capacities for about since I was a teenager. One of the thing that taught me is, to teach you start out copying someone. Pauses, hand movement, catch-phrases, teaching style and etc, all of these are "stolen" initially. It is in copying your favourite teacher that you actually find yourself. I've known that for a long time
Thus, the moment I picked up the book "Steal Like An Artist" by Austin Kleon, the authors message resonated with me.
Those who start out trying to be original usually never get started. And in the case of theology those who start out trying to sound unique or original actually end up spewing doctrinal errors or heresy.
I want to productize myself product. I want to tie to ability to earn money to myself not my time. The easiest way to go about that is share your thoughts or works with world. Thus I need to take my blog seriously.
I set up my personal blog last year and I haven't put out much. I'm thinking to borrow a leaf from Austin Kleon - do a cover (music) of my best content on the internet. Of course I would infuse my learnings. That way i'm not stalling waiting for the world to pick me. I'd just pick myself and put out content.

Even The Beatles started as a cover band
That was the statement from the book that turned on the switch in my brain.
