What's your default?

The behaviors and attitudes we default to can make all the difference in our well-being and the well-being of others — both in and outside of work.

What works may vary from person to person, but in general it’s more helpful to:

Lead with curiosity instead of frustration.

Be kind instead of vengeful or spiteful.

Be compassionate instead of judgmental.

Some perspectives are more helpful than others.

Some actions are more productive and likely to lead to positive outcomes than others.

While you may not necessarily be able to alter the circumstances you’re faced with, you have tremendous freedom and power when it comes to deciding how you respond.
