I arrived at my vacation spot yesterday evening. Today is the real Day 1.
Yesterday, it was dark by the time we got to the destination so we couldn't see what the outside looked like. This morning, it was the first view that took our breath away.

I missed the sunrise but I have been told to wake up for it. We plan to leave the window curtains open tonight. It is so peaceful to sit and watch the waves. Even though it is too cold to sit at the balcony. I didn't really bring a lot of sweaters so I may have to do some local shopping for gloves and hat. But I will walk that beach.
I am working on my first fiction work. I created a semi-outline today. I have a lot of different stories that I am trying to create a cohesive flow for. This vacation could be just the quiet I need to execute on this.
