Well the situation in Ethiopia seems to be improving.
My original plan was to visit in early Jan of 2022. But a civil war broke out that derailed my plans. I am still to hesitant to push ahead with my plans as it was. I need to see more stability before I can make the purchase.
But just the idea that I could execute on that goal, maybe in a month or two later than I planned - is exciting. I like the idea of having a goal date and get things done ahead of the date. The fact that I will be visiting friends and family I haven't seen a long time also makes this exciting.
It's a good time to be alive and well.
