I have been taking some classes lately. All about how to do things on social media and have an audience. I had started writing on Medium during the last writing competition in August. I haven't been consistent with it since.
After learning how important it is to have posts on a regular basis, I started to post more frequently the last week. In addition, I started to focus on the image that I use. I was paying attention to headlines and things like that before but the thumbnail didn't seem as important. I did an experiment where I updated the image I used for a post I wrote in the past. I immediately saw a jump in engagement, read ration and fans. It is so fascinating to learn how to get people's attention and actually apply it.
As of this moment, I have 313 followers. I don't know how it happened but now that I am being deliberate about it, I have set a goal of 1000 medium followers before the end of the first quarter of 2022.
Since I am writing a book, I need to make sure that my writing is attracting attention and at the bottom of my posts, I will send people to my book landing page to gather emails. There is nothing more magical than having people show that they are eager to read my book.
