I am taking a course on how to go viral on Tik Tok.
This instructor is a very young guy named Ming from Singapore. He has an interesting journey to getting over 16 million followers on Tik Tok.
Right before COVID hit, he was practicing daily for the Olympics. He is a Taekwondo professional. And when COVID hit, he couldn't do much outdoors so he had time on his hands unexpectedly.
So he decided to do Tik Tok videos on a more consistent basis. And soon discovered that he was getting traction... not just because his content was good, but also because people being stuck indoors meant that social media platforms had more visitors than before.
He built such a following that even the Singapore government asked him to make a video and paid him $3000 for it.
The guy went from on extreme career to another extreme one that is making him a lot more money. Very interesting.
