Business book about

Laughter.  I have just started a business book about laughter. Or comedy in business or sillyness in places of seriousness. I’m not completely sure yet as I haven’t finished.  In the book they write a lot about levity. Which means to treat a serious matter as a joke. Or excessive silliness. They use it as a good thing claiming that noticing a joke or something funny can help you notice new ideas, or relax and deal with stressful situations. They also talk about it as a way of life, as in if you train this way of thinking you will start playing or joking around with life more, and then you’ll be better business people. And possibly maybe people. But they talk about something that really scares me, a happiness or laughter cliff. Where pretty much according to one huge Gallup poll, you start laughing significantly less everyday from the age of 25. I wonder why this is, on one hand I feel like it’s work, on another just life? But it does make me want to fight against that. As well as, create things that actively push against this. Hopefully this week they will be more thought out pieces than this, and hopefully this week we will all smile a bit more. Fighting against this cliff, holding on a bit tighter.
