Running is a curious activity. Similar to walking I think it does help with thinking. Like when I am stressed or worried doing either helps a lot. But a good run, can turn the day around!
The reason though i can’t figure out. But also maybe there are things that shouldn’t really be figured out. Like why does vitamin d improve my winter mood, could be its affect or could be placebo. Either way doesn’t matter mood improved
With running the effect is more instant, and fades so seems to actually be a thing. Sure there are endorphins, and other complex chemical excreted.
But also I feel like it’s where thoughts go, it’s not the same as sitting in a room where your thoughts just come back to you bouncing off the walls.
Maybe more it’s like writing on a page or a landscape scroll, and you fling your ideas and worries in the trees or passing by cars, but the paper keeps going. Sometimes you have to stop to write one down, but the rest,
They get diluted, mixed with the passing images.
Maybe it’s attention maybe it’s a lot of things but it is really nice to run.
