Becoming a morning person

I tried to wake up at 5am this morning. 
Went to bed at 9, fell asleep by 945pm.

Woke up at 5am and changed the alarm to 645am. 
Woke up on my own at 623am. Felt strong enough to get out of bed. My sleep and energy scores were also above 80.

From the past 10am time I usually wake up - 623am is a massive improvement. And only an hour and 23 minutes from my goal. More importantly, sleeping before midnight was the main game changer. I can't do much unless I get good sleep. So I don't plan to compromise on that.

Once my evening routine is set and isn't going to go astray on weekends, the 5am mornings will get easier. 

All my life I have believed that I am not a morning person. My most creative work has always been done at night so this experiment will let me know if I have been wrong all along. 
Well, some people consider 5am still night, so you could be a night person in the morning :)
