I already know that I have many different interests but I want to talk about the projects that I have worked on for other people.
I find that a lot of people share their business ideas with me. I am happy about the fact that people trust me with their ideas. I think trust is a key in any relationship so I value getting it from others. Once someone shares their ideas, they usually ask for advice about one thing or the other. If I have experience with any aspect, I share my experience and opinion. If I don't have any past experience, I share how I outsourced for things I didn't know and encourage them to do something similar.
One thing I realized is that people are intimidated by the idea of outsourcing. Unless you have done it repeatedly, it seems like a daunting task. I have built that muscle for almost 8 years now and I do my best to not waste my time with anything I can afford to outsource.
Many times, a few people have asked me to do the outsourcing part for them and they will reimburse me for the cost. What I realized after a few of those requests is that outsourcing can be time and energy consuming unless you have a particular person you work with. So I was thinking - since I have been thinking about passive income, if I can actually do the things I have been doing - as a service.
I need to flush out the idea better.
