What are your top 3 goals?
Someone asked me this question today and I had to think about it. I have realized my ambition to do a lot of things. Especially now that I have no 9-5 work. I gave myself a 6 month time frame to execute on things that I have always wanted to do.
But if I don't focus on the most important top 3 goals, I am headed towards overwhelm and likely not completing all of them.
So the top 3 that I decided I should focus on are:
1) My health. This will remain as my top focus for the rest of my life. Nothing is worth sacrificing my health for and I am convinced about that.
2) Relationships. Between all the people in my life that I love. I want to be deliberate about the time I give them and what exactly I do with that time.
3) My book. I have been working on it the last 2 months. It is one of the big items I want to get done this year. And I feel confident that if I am focused, I will be able to create something I will be proud of.
The clarity of knowing my top 3 is a great exercise. The next step is focusing on what I can do towards these three things on a daily basis.
