Flexibility

One of the goals I have for this year is to be more flexible. I find that I am getting stiff and beginning to walk like I am much older. Especially when I see myself on video, I notice my bad posture.

Back in the days when I was doing taekwondo, I used to be able to do 180 degree split. It took time but with the repeated practice, stretching and kicks - I got there. My body used to be easy to order around back then.

Now I see those old videos and marvel at how things used to be. 
So the last few weeks, I have been stretching a lot. A LOT. To the point of feeling pain when I was just walking. 

There are a lot of suggestions about what to do to increase flexibility within a month. Looking at it, I feel like it wasn't created for humans. But I a staying on track. I feel myself getting better. The one mistake I made was not documenting just how bad I was at the start. It is more motivating to see a before and after of the changes. 

I am still at the early phases and I know this isn't a goal for a month or two. Likely 6 months + if I want to avoid injuring myself.
