I woke up today - with a little bit of hope.
Went straight to the internet and checked the status... same nonsense - in process.
After speaking to my brother, he said that I should call the center and escalate it to someone that can give me a proper response. The thought of doing that never occurred to me. So I went ahead and did just that. I was able to go 3 steps higher than the individual I was talking to before.
When I finally reached someone with more authority, I told her my situation and said I needed a resolution. She proceeded to ask me for some details and said she will see what she can do. I did a little dance at that point since no one had said that to me before.
The lady returned after about 10 minutes on hold and said she couldn't get me any new details or schedule me for another appointment. There was nothing she or anyone else (even above her) could do at this point.
I closed the phone and meditated for a little.
Then I got an email from Nassummit with a link to the agenda for the event.
I took deep breaths and emailed the Nas summit team to ask if there is a way for me to attend this event virtually.
