I was in a hurry today. But it was hard to be.
My walk was too nice, too much and birds were flying and singing.
But I had a deadline, an important document that needed to be done by 9am.
But seriously how can you not stop and smell the trees or anything blooming.
I recently got a new cologne so that was wafting in the air.
And it reminded me of the lady who sold me the cologne and the 15 cards she sprayed.
This ones a bit sweeter, this ones a bit woody. This one my partner wears.
Now me and her partner wear the same one.
I don't know if its the new vitamin D I am taking or the fact that there is a enough light now maybe I don't need to take it, but it feels like a nice day.
Normally my morning commute is hectic and feels as gross as a rat race.
But today it was laughable, commuting by walking is the best. There is no hurry.
Maybe, i've been wrong all along these walkers really know what they are doing, when I fly by on my bike getting to work 20 minutes earlier, they have already had a meditative moment, they've already considered the beauty of life, by the time I have guzzled down my second coffee. They arrive refreshed, and anew, while arrive sweaty and disgruntled and on edge.
