Write now, publish later

The next few days being busy will put a bit of pressure on me to get my writing done. So I will need to plan and put some words in the can, ready to be posted when needed. It begs the question. If I write something today and keep it until later in the week before I post it, have I broken my streak by not writing on the day I post?

I am showing my hand here and perhaps letting the cat out of the bag. If I didn't say anything, no one would be the wiser, and for all intended purposes, it would appear that I have written on the day I posted.
As my post is timestamped when I hit the 'publish' button, it stands to reason that a streak is only ever maintained by the regular pressing of that button. However, you do need content to publish, so you need words for that. Anyway, I am getting ahead of things by having a redundant argument, primarily with myself.

If I turn up with content each day and post it, regardless of when I wrote the words, I should be satisfied that my streak is legitimate.
