Woke up fearing that the time zone difference had caused me to skip a day and lose my streak.
I arrived back to DC early this morning. Since Dubai is 12 hours ahead, I couldn't remember which day it was or if I had written for the day. It was a 14 hour flight with a 2 hour delay at the DC arrival airport for customs. I wasn't sure why but we were standing in line, not even seated, for over 2 hours.
I then took an Uber and got home around noon. I was excited to finally get home. Have cell service again and see my family. For some reason, I felt like I was gone for a long time.
I was going in and out of sleep during the day. Hoping to use the weekend to adjust my sleep schedule and get back to things soon.
I feel rested.
