I was unable to start my car a few days ago. Since it was the weekend, I wasn't too worried. I just needed to move it closer to the Toyota dealership so the towing wouldn't be too bad if this happened again.
So yesterday, I went to the spot where I left it and got a jump start. I was worried that it may not be the issue since I have a hybrid and anticipated that things are different. The only thing that was different was the placement of the battery. In 2014 camry hybrid, it is in the back. Everything else was seamless and I drove the car with no issues. The weather wasn't too cold so I am not sure if that helped.
This morning, when I turned the car on, zero issues. I was tempted to skip the trip to the dealership but I pushed myself. The mechanic just called to confirm that the issue was the battery and the make and model of that year was different so the part had to be ordered and was more expensive than usual.
So tomorrow this time, I should be have my car good as new again.
