Fiction Tennis, Volley 14 project management Figma high heels

What a sad sight. Project Manger. Howard clung onto the title like it was the only thing left in his life.

 Because it probably was.

It wasn't her title, but effectively it was her role. She did the
project management
, made sure the ship ran clean around here. And soon the ship was going to crash. This is why she didn't give a shit that Max Dempsey and Greg... whatever his last name was -- nobody actually knew his last name for some reason -- were total assholes.

She thought of them as incompetent assholes for a moment, but then she knew that that wasn't right. She knew what incompetent was, and that wasn't what Dempsey and Greg were. Maybe Greg... but definitely not Dempsey.

And some people unfortunately weren't assholes.. they were sweethearts... but they were incompetent. This is where Norah came in. She did the extra work that wasn't part of her title description. She patched things together and made sure communications went through from here to there and back. Because of this extra effort she allowed incompetent sweethearts like Howard to keep working here.

She felt bad about it. Thinking about the offer from the Miller Group that she knew she was going to accept, who would make Dempsey and Greg look like baffoons trying to whip chimps into pressing buttons randomly on
Figma
. She was going to miss this place that was for sure. But now it was a new episode for her.

She was imagining how great her next job was going to be like when the air suddenly shifted. She sensed a scramble in the main office. People were paying attention to some novel stimuli. The sound of
high heels
clicking followed by the gaze of everybody. It was Mrs. Dempsey.
