I am supposed to present at a meeting this week.
It took me some time yesterday to get the slides together... just 5 slides with intro and ending included. Plus it is not a complex topic. But the audience are people who have done great things in their lives. And I feel the pressure to do well.
I will be speaking on behalf of 20 very strong women in one of the groups I am in. I am always amazed when I realized what each of them are up to.
During the time when I was working for COVID19 related projects, I was doing a lot of presentations and creating slides. I have had good feedback on the design and format. So I plan to use the past decks as a template.
In addition to writing, reading, selling, marketing, problem solving and decision making, I see the ability to deliver a pitch as a key skill. Looking forward to my presentation as another opportunity to improve that skill.
