Sensational(ism)

I lie on my back in the tall grass, staring at an endless blue sky. Not a single cloud in sight, everything looks like a vast sea. I imagine what it would be like to look at the same sky from the middle of the sea. The feeling of movement arose in my body, as if I were in a small boat. I got a little dizzy, so I imagined I was on a larger boat - a cruise ship that does not move as much with the waves, but I was no longer on the surface of the water and there was too much going on around me. I returned to the smaller boat and let the gynormous cruise ship disappear. The rolling and rocking feeling returned. But stop. I raised myself 1 m above the surface of the water and let the boat sink. That's much better. If imagination takes effort, it is only to eliminate conditioning I thought. The imagination is by nature effortless. An imaginative mind is also a creative mind and, it thrives in a liminal state where the future is improbable. A constant flow of images and ideas that bring about profound transformation.
