Kendrick and Bahamas

I am up late today, which means I get to write and maybe be the first, but I was also the last, of the night before. At least where I live, and in Adagia world.

Recently I have been on the Kendrick train. Listening to the new album. Less of a party one than Damn, more introspective. There was one song that stuck out to me in particular Crown, the reason it sticks out was its one a good song, but two it talks about not pleasing everyone. Its about more than that, but and this might be something I am trying to figure out with my life, but another artist I really like, Bahamas, in Everything To Everyone (more of a sad canadian guy's take) talks about the same stuff. I laughed kind of when I first heard Bahamas belting this out as a chorus. But now with Kendrick talking about it, it seems much more serious. Less goofy, and real. Maybe its a common thing you don't realize until you are a dad like both Kendrick and Afie, but also maybe its one of those things you always deal with. Especially when trying to make things, so I don't know if both these artists with their albums are coming to terms with this. Hopefully their listening to each others music, and finding peace in that.
