Trash night

"Are your trash and recycle nights the same?"

"Yes, Monday night for Tuesday pick-up for both trash and recycle. Although I have a sneaking suspicion that both bins are going to the same trash heap. I don't know how it changes with the holiday, but I saw other people put their bins out. Did you already put the bins out in the alley?"

"Yep."

"Okay, so now they are deployed. Once the bins are deployed, no more putting anything in them."

"What? That's silly. If there's more trash, I'm going to put it out there. Might as well maximize the pick-up. Plus you don't want stinky trash leftover."

"Well, then you keep the bins back until all trash and recycling are put in. Then you deploy the bins."

"What's this 'deploy the bins?' You act like it's some big event. It's just rolling the bins from the side yard to the alley."

"That's the big weekly event. You are readying the bins for pick-up, and again, once deployed, there should be no more material placed in the bins."

"What am I supposed to do with the extra trash?"

"It waits until next week."

"I'm not leaving stinky trash for a week. I don't care what you say about deploying the bins. You're not the governor of trash."
