When you're living alone, one thing you learn quickly is to always keep the promise you made to yourself. If you postpone a chore or an activity, no one is coming to save you, you'll meet it there. Worse.

No one is coming to save you. No one is coming to pick up your trash. No one is coming to cook for you. 

You either do it yourself, look for and pay someone to do it or you bear the consequence.
