Day 3

Of my 1 week experiment for waking up early.
Today was a good one.

I woke up feeling rested and ready. My Oura score was 90 and I got a crown for these markers:

- Total sleep -- 8 hours 58 minutes
- Efficiency -- 83%
- REM sleep -- 2 hour 6 minutes (23%)
- Deep sleep -- 1 hour 59 minutes (22%)
- Latency -- 9 minutes
- Timing -- Optimal

My body temperature is still a bit elevated but better than yesterday.

I made myself some mushroom tea to sip on the way. The traffic was worse today. An hour to get to DC.

But I felt really good so I looked for a WeWork after dropping my dad to the conference. There was one exactly 5 minutes walk away so I got myself into a public parking. It cost $13 to park for the day as an early bird discount. Reasonable for DC.

I walked to the WeWork building and asked or what offers they had. I considered getting a day pass or something since I will be here everyday until Sunday. I was told that it would cost $29 for a day pass. But for a monthly pass to go to any WeWork for the next 6 months, I could get it for $150 per month. I used to pay $350 for the monthly pass pre-covid. I considered how much I would pay if I got the day pass for this week - $150. And that would be restricted to this one specific location and only until 5pm. So it was a no-brainer for me.

I asked for the monthly pass. Since today is Oct 12, they charged me $100 for the rest of the month. To use at any WeWork location. I would be charged $150 per month until April 2023 unless I decide to cancel.

So I went for it and started working right there. I find that I have a lot of energy and back in my WeWork groove.

I declare today a success.
