So much for pre-orders

Exactly one month ago, I pre-ordered Vishen Lakhiani's new book, The Six Phase Meditation Method. I still don't have it.

Vishen was at the Biohacking Conference last month, and I was intrigued by his description of his six-phase approach to meditation, which can be done in 15-20 minutes. I pre-ordered the book thinking that I would have it as soon as it is released and would receive extra bonuses.

The email I received after placing my order indicated that "orders will be shippied (sic) within 1 week after release." There was also a link to receive the bonuses, but the link was not working. The link eventually took me to the Mindvalley website, where I was granted access to the Six Phase Meditation course on the platform.

I sent an email to Mindvalley support, and they revised the verbiage to indicate that orders will be shipped 2-3 weeks after the release date and that they are aware of the delay. Well, I'm ready to learn, so I downloaded the ebook on the Z-Library. It's not stealing since I've already paid for the book.

So let's review. I paid the full retail price of $27 for a book that still hasn't arrived after a month. The free bonus included with the pre-order is a course on the Mind Valley platform that is actually given to anybody, as evidenced by a marketing email I received from Mind Valley. And for the record, I can buy the book on Amazon for $22 and have it delivered the same day.

So much for pre-orders.
Mind Valley is not a sham.

No. I've only seen interviews with the founder and their technical lead.
