Real Work

Picking up cans was easy in comparison to the past work. Marc Love started his day at the busy street here he would get about 10 cans there was a bar near there that sold everything in can and people would just leave them. He would then go along the side streets. Checking houses asking a few people if they’d spare their cans many times people said okay. Not really motivated to take them back themselves. 10 cents to a lot of people doesn’t matter, but to him it added up. Then he’d double it. Or sometimes even triple it. Over and over again. He found something nice in this like a snow ball growing down a hill. Before he set out he made sure no one saw where he left. People assumed he was homeless in the town. And he heard people say things about him. That was fine to him though. Let them think anything but the truth. After his back was full or about he took it to the center. Not the one near the school it only accepted the cans they’d sell. But the one out of town near the casino. The cameras around the building didn’t work and they accepted cans from anywhere. Efficiency. Marc Love for once in his life felt free. Time to do some real work he thought while he walked into the casino.
