Dicks favorite tool was a screw driver. He got it from his dad who got it from a friend. He liked it because his
dad
used to tell him stories, and for some reason that screw driver was always in his hand, he would wave it around point with it. Punctuate sentences with, think with it.
Dick also liked it because it did everything you need it to do. And it didn't like those cheap tools get all dull, and it didn't like those hard tools that strip everything. It never stripped a screw. Dick told his dad this, and he just replied "Ah yes the power of the Red Wing." His computer pissed him off. It ran hot so his fan burred loudly. Like one long sigh he thought. A wheezy sigh. He didn't know how long it would last, but also everyone looked at him in the cafe. He would give them a look back like " I obviously wouldn't have this if I could help it, give me a break."
He worked lately in this building, the sociology department, after all the classes ended it got quiet so you could work at some parts of the building. Best part was that there was no one there to stare, the other best part was the price.
