He pocketed the vape turning it off. Maybe he'd need the power. He checked his phone 54% reasonable, under normal conditions. He had a car charger. His gas tank was near a quarter of a tank. Fuck. He went to kitchen, then the back door just peaking his head out.
It was dark, darker than it should be at this time of day. Just after lunch. Clouds were big, and the wind threatened to pull the door open.
He felt like he was on the side of the world right then. Like he was safe, but could witness everything. With this thought a bright light flashed, and thunder cracked. The wind rushed around pushing sticks larger than he remembered being pushed around. Fuck.
Then the rain started hard pelting the ground, then hail.
"Fuck man." There was no one around.
"My fucking car!"
He started to go out, then retreated back to the door, if that closes he can't get back in.
"Fuck." He just nearly pulled himself inside.
"What would I even do?" He regretted parking out in the open, but also thankful he couldn't park in his usual spot.
The one in front of tree.
He then remembered Keith.
"I hope that guys okay." He thought hopefully he's still in bed.
