A Finely Tuned Machine McFlurry McDonalds

as reply to the mid point table

"Its weird it took so long." She said.

The guy pretended not to notice, but maybe he did.

"Its weird it took so long, like with your
McFlurry
were the only people here." She laughed a little.

He turned to face her, unsure.

"Yeah, I mean I guess they have drive through customers."

Another ding. Her order she got up to get the fries. They were in brown bag. The guy at the counter said "Be careful, their right out of the fryer." Then gave her a nice smile.

She brought the bag back to the table. She grabbed a packet of ketchup, and another sachet of salt.

"Never enough for me, the fries."

"Here there good though, always fresh." Keith replied. The woman was caught off guard, it was strange he knew so much about this
McDonalds

"Didyou used to work here?"

"No no, but just one of the best i've had. They take a little while, but always fresh. Its weird. Haven't been any where like it."

"Huh." She said in reply. And she felt the ocean closer to her, like they now were sitting out in the sand. The sun warm on her face.

She looked back at the workers, and they just moved diligently. Things seemed to work well.

"Like clockwork. A finely tuned machine."
