His freezer was in the garage. Something Jay thought was weird. His parents didn't have that, but thats where they all were. The snacks. They had everything and most things Jay's mom wouldn't buy, and all the things the ice cream truck guy had.
"What you want?"
"Can I have that one uh taco thing. Chaco taco!"
"Yeah, my dad just bought some. He said if you eat more Chaco tacos than him you have to start buying em."
Jays eyes got wide.
"He's just kidding though. He eat's so many anyway I don't think you could ever beat him."
Now they would usually go inside to the basement watch TV or something. Then a little while later come back and make pizza rolls.
"Mom said one her friends is coming over. So we gotta wait here."
Pretty soon after, when Jay was almost done with his ice cream a car pulled near the curb in front of their house. A brown or red car. Older than his parents, and a woman and a boy stepped out.
"Hi you two. I'm Cathy, and this is Christopher."
She motioned to the boy trailing her, and he waved.
"Chris you want any ice cream?" And Jay opened the freezer.
"Look at this!"
