Blayne was back at the
Seaside Rest
they had cleaned up well. No one really missed them, one guy made fun of them being off at the same time. The kid hadn't returned to work in awhile. Blayne understood.
The first time he'd went with Danny he couldn't have eaten solid for a week. He'd never seen anything like it. They'd killed 5 men for almost no reason. Danny thought they had dinged up his dad's boat or something.
So he got it, the kid told him everyday that week "Hey still not feeling well. Hopefully you can handle without me."
And Blayne did, he worked a little longer, but he was faster than the kid anyway with the cleaning.
He'd always liked that about the hotel. The cleaning, he'd strip everything and put it in a pile. Then put all the new ones. Starting with the sheets. He liked that feeling. Everything was fresh everything was new.
Then he'd take the towels and fold em real nice. Seal the toilets after he cleaned them. Customers always liked that.
Back in the day he'd have almost like 20 a day, just in the morning.
Now he just did about 5. He liked doing em in the morning right after his second coffee.
