BAKA thought but would never tell anyone that he hated being on the road. He always had to wake up and pretend like he was ready, but what he missed most out of anything was a routine.
Routine got him off the streets and making music.
Routine got him record deals.
Not this shit he thought. Day in and day out grinding is what you need focus.
If he wasn't on the road he'd get up early, he liked coffee, and he'd have it in silence. Then he'd do some exercise or something. He missed that.
He hated this bullshit too because you always had to act hard. Half of it was just an act. He just wished he had some land somewhere.
"You ever think about what you would be doing if you weren't doing this?" Mark said, while looking out the window.
"Never." And BAKA clicked his tongue. "I was born for this."
There was a silence then for a while. It opened up between them and this took BAKA by surprise. The silence persisted and he started noticing his breath.
"Sometimes I just would like to have a farm you know." BAKA said in a low voice.
"Sometimes I just want to be alone and have a little farmhouse, with some chickens or some shit, you know."
And Marc just nodded in agreement listening to everything else BAKA said.
