Kevin bolted awake.
"You good there buddy? Looks like you were having a crazy one. I got you a coke, and look they have sun chips."
Steven said shaking the bag excitedly. He now had his smartphone propped up like a TV. There was even a special case he had that allowed it to be propped up. Kevin accepted the coke and the sunchips, and glanced at Steven's apple watch.
There was a week, or maybe longer where he thought about buying one, even went into a place to look at them try on different colors, but he couldn't. He'd only just wear a regular watch, or no watch, he didn't care so much about the time.
The coke was nice. For some reason ever since they left that meeting he felt like everything has been a little extra. Like the taxi, the service on the flight. Like it was hard to say, but it wasn't like so good that he would notice it. But it just seems everything seems enhanced, even the coke he was drinking was one of the best he had in his life. The glass even came with a lemon in it, how his grandma used to drink it.
